Oreo is approximately 1 to 2 year old pattern white happy-go-lucky boy, he has shown to be a very outgoing, confident, well balanced dog. He is on the medium/larger side 50lbs with a half docked tail. True to his Border Collie heritage Oreo gives lots of head tilts, he is very smart, curious, expressive, strong desire to please and quick to pick up on what I teach him. he has started basic obedience classes and has excelled, he knows sit and down; for his level, he has done well with stand, heeling and during the stay, he has made major progress on his casual leash walk but I regularly remind him by practicing his leash exercises.

With people, Oreo is the social butterfly, every person who has met him is instantly disarmed by his sweet disposition. He loves everyone he meets and gets disappointed when people walk by without greeting him. He is very well mannered when greeting strangers, typically he goes into the sit position and after the initial greeting will give a full lean and will roll over for a belly rub. He has shown a strong attraction to children and is very polite with them, typically he greets children in the sit position and gives hand licks and sniffs. We are able to walk through very crowded stores and he is perfectly behaved.

With dogs, Oreo is a model canine citizen when it comes to other dogs. Typically he plays the submissive male role with his house-mates and trys to avoid any possible conflict. Every stranger dog he has met, he has done exceptionally well with greeting them politely. He is on the reserved side greeting with only noses, after the initial greeting, if the dog is on the polite playful side, he'll do a bit of a dance and try to play. Otherwise he will move on to more interesting things in the local environment.

In the House, Oreo has shown great house manners, so far he hasn't had any accidents or shown destructive behaviors. His energy level is typically on the reserved side with brief moments of controlled excitement. Normally I never have to look far trying to find him around the house because he's either leaning on me, resting his chin on me, then when he gets adventurous he might wander a whole 3 to 15 feet away.

Overall, Oreo is a very special boy and has really exceeded every expectation I had when I pulled him, I'm sure you will be similarly pleased.
